Arsenal supporters groups unite for biggest ever protest, calling for “Time for Change.”

Three of Arsenal ’s biggest supporters groups are launching their biggest ever protest calling for a “Time for Change.”

Black Scarf Movement and Red Action are both supporting the campaign which will be staged at Arsenal’s home game with Norwich on Saturday.

It is also being backed by the Arsenal Supporters’ Trust with placards being handed out and fans being urged to hold them up after 12 minutes, on 78 minutes and at the final whistle.

The “Time for Change” message is aimed at the way the club is run, it has an underlying message for Arsene Wenger and they are trying to get their point across in front of the Sky cameras for Saturday’s TV live game.

The Red Action statement reads: “We are encouraging the most vocal protest to be after the final whistle, so no suggestion that this should affect the team. And it goes without saying, during the game please give your maximum (and loud) support to the players on the pitch.”

The Black Scarf Movement statement reads: “Consistent failure to challenge for football’s big prizes and using 4th place finishes as a cause for celebration, when all Champions League football means is more income for the Board to celebrate.”

It will pile more pressure on Wenger who has insisted he will not walk away but has called on supporters to back the team during games.
