Chibok schoolgirl rescued after two years in boko haram captivity

The Nigerian Army has confirmed the rescued of one out of the 219 Girls of Government Secondary School, Chibok, who were abducted by Boko Haram in 2014.


Amina Ali Nkeki, 19, was found with a baby by an army-backed vigilante group on Tuesday in the huge Sambisa Forest, close to the border with Cameroon.

She was rescued along with her baby which was conceived in captivity and a suspected Boko Haram member, Mohammed Hayatu, who claimed to be her husband.
