Leicester City have revived their interest in CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa as they plan for the Champions League next season. Daily Mail reports.
The 23-year-old was a target for Claudio Ranieri in January but Leicester believed CSKA’s asking price was too high as they pushed for £20million.
Musa, a Nigeria international, is fast, can play across the frontline and has scored 12 goals in 32 games this season.
He would also add Champions League experience, something lacking in Ranieri’s exciting squad ahead of next season.
Leicester sent scouts to watch him against Lokomotiv Moscow earlier this month to keep up to date with his performances.
Leicester had two bids rejected in January but will hope to strike a compromise at around £18m for Musa in the coming weeks.
