Nigerian arrested in India for selling cocaine

65-year-old man sent to prison for raping boy for 1 year

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths arrested a Nigerian while he was trying to sell narcotics at his residence near Sampigehalli. The accused has been identified as 37-year-old Ejem Peter from Nigeria.

Police have seized 621 grams of cocaine and 265 grams of hashish, valued at Rs 35.8 lakh, Rs 62,000 in cash and three mobile phones from him.

During investigation, it was found that Peter and his friend Kevin, who is absconding, used to smuggle banned substances from Nigeria and sell among them to employees of corporate companies and college students in the city.

They would also supply drugs to Goa and other places. Peter’s passport and visa are being verified and a manhunt has been launched to nab Kevin. Sampigehalli police have registered a case.
