Vardy rejects Arsenal & agrees new Leicester contract extension worth £100,000 a week

Leicester City have agreed a new four-year contract with striker Jamie Vardy, with the England international having turned down a move to Arsenal.

Vardy, 29, helped the Foxes to their surprise title success last season, scoring 24 goals as Claudio Ranieri’s men shocked the footballing world.

Now, the fleet-footed forward, who is currently with England at Euro 2016, has committed his future to the King Power Stadium on a deal worth £100,000 a week.
